Scenario Based Training

Look it up on Google…...it is often used to learn how to fly planes or deal with crisis situations.  We don't fly planes or create crises to manage!

What we do is take a subject or theme and create a virtual set of circumstances, including maps, places, traditions and facts. We thoroughly research details of real issues, places, people & information to incorporate into the background information and use as part of the exercises.

Participants are guided through the tasks that they have to achieve: be it taking a camel through the desert on an 8 day virtual hike (we did this for Medway Council to highlight the shortage of water for new housing development); creating a radio advert; or negotiating deals over a fertiliser works and power station to demonstrate interactions between the public and private sectors.

We find that participants are able to share their knowledge and skills in a "safe" environment, but one that gets their creative side more engaged.  People have fun and they remember the experience.
